Amelia’s family

Amelia’s family

This is a lovely read. When we asked adopter Michael to write a story about blind Amelia for our website, we weren’t expecting to receive this. Michael’s beautiful story was accompanied by one his partner wrote after Amelia’s adoption. Enjoy reading about how Amelia and her forever family. In April 2012 we got

A perfect companion

When I saw Abbey on the CatRescue website I knew she was THE cat. From the moment she came home with us she just made our home a better place. She brings out the best in all of us with her gentle ways and quiet companionship. We are all smitten with her and everyone wants her on their lap. My daughter Oonagh takes her to bed with her, where Abbey waits until she falls asleep, before coming downstairs for cuddles with me. She’s a gem and I couldn't imagine life without her.
