UPDATE: February 2017

It is with very great sadness that we must announce that Harold went to rainbow bridge just six weeks shy of a year in care. He went very peacefully in his sleep. He had had a dental and vet check just six weeks before he left us. We are so thrilled that Harold had nearly a year of love and incredible care with Roxy and Travis.

Run free beautiful boy. You may not have been able to see or hear anymore but you sure could love, and we are grateful for the time you gave us in your twilight years.

Much loved and sadly missed.

A huge thank you to Dr Andrew at Springwood Vet Clinic for caring for Harold.

Introducing Harold. He is 10+ years old, blind, emaciated, and in a pound – found as a stray.   … And he is a BIG smoocher.

Thank you to the wonderful Roxy and Travis who will foster Harold. Roxy & Travis previously adopted Glitch and Joshie, both cats with disabilities, from us, so they are well able to foster an older blind boy. Thank you for making it possible for us to save him Roxy and Travis.

We don’t know what medical issues Harold may come with but he is in terrible shape and will be going to vet for a check-up as soon as on board.

Keep an eye on our Facebook posts for updates on how Harold is progressing.

Harold, who is in fact microchipped at 13 years, is safely tucked up with Roxy and Travis now. Bet he hasn’t been this cosy for a while.

Hopefully Mr love bug will be feeling much better soon.

Harold, aka Harry Bear, spent last night at the vet as we decided it was better to sedate him to take blood. He got too upset when the vet tried. Amazing news is he ate on his own overnight and bloods revealed nothing sinister.

He is definitely looking a bit better. Everyone is very relieved he appears ok.

He is 13 and has had a rough time so we don’t know what the future will bring but he should be ok for a while at least.
